Thanks Jim - and especially Phil
It was on the list already, chassis 0554, but I didn't have a picture.

Well something was for sale in Wrexham in '16, I could have jumped a line during indexing ... in fact the cars both sides of it alphabetically were for sale - one last seen in '86 so probably not that. Could be FUT 269C. The price seems very low in any case, unless it's just the date that's wrong. W...

Coming back to the dark blue car, the ad says specifically OFF THE ROAD SINCE 1994 which is definitely not the case of OYT ... One possibility - Someone has started to build a copy of OYT, using even the seats from the original car. The interior of OYT is now wine red and the wheels are not identifi...

FUG 348D was for sale in Wrexham in 2016, I'm not sure why it would be unknown to DVLA unless it was running on trade plates.

In 1994 at Curborough it did not have Compomotive wheels.
It was apparently at Lilford Hall in 1988 but I can't find a photo of that.

Well ... do you mean that the photo dates from early '91 ? Because in the photo it definitely doesn't have a vinyl roof (or the chrome trim at the bottom of). At Coupé day in Buxton in august (?) 1991 it had a vinyl roof. In 2018 it has a vinyl roof. In any case, I don't think Car and Classi...

Hadn't thought of that.
A few straight sixes are in fact E-reg, including one early car (chassis 154).
Still no clue though.

Strangely, there is another dark blue V8, not seen since 2008.
It has no vinyl roof, but it also has no Compomotive wheels.
And it has flared arches and bonnet vents ...

Yes, I'm sure it's not OYT, though that had crossed my mind too. Strange coincidence, same colour, with the same wheels - but no vinyl roof and I think no flared arches. I can't see any date on the Car & Classic site but I don't think they leave old ads long ? Not just the door cards, the door openi...

Anyone know anything about this V8 ?
I haven't time to research it at the moment ...

Did 1967 cars really have straight six doors?

That's an interesting find, though a shame to confirm that it was scrapped.
All I can add is that in 1980 it belonged to R Wilson of Lincoln.
Wilson? that seems to ring a bell 8)
