Shooting Brakes

Sorry, should have said HGV tyre testing, they apparently mounted lorry tyres on a test wheel inside the cabin.
What they then did to / with them I've no idea.
Mind you, that machine must be a pretty Heavy Goods Vehicle itself ...

Google doesn't recognise Jaguar XF.
I don't recognise modern Jaguars in general (type F is an exception).
But you couldn't mistake that one, is it a hearse?

Incidentally the Citroën is a mobile tyre testing station built for Michelin.

Scimba - Just add fuel

How thick is too thick? Cutting gaskets is easy, even I can do it. Mastic is even easier 8) I think Sikaflex (or other polymer / polyurethane) mastic is resistant to everything short of a thermonuclear attack. But, as they say, read the label to be sure. Also, it seems to me that Hermetite do a petr...

Scimba - Just add fuel

Do you need such a thick seal?
Could you cut one out of gasket paper or cork or whatever?
OR abandon it and use Sikaflex ...

Scimitar SE6 Trackday car from France

Welcome indeed, felicitations on your purchase - and on your english! Now it seems it is the turn of Scimitar race cars to emigrate, we already have the ex-Howard Nelson car over here  That seems to sit the road nicely, but it would if family Carter set it up. I see you have already registered...

Only one pic of HEG 387D, without date but almost certainly after 1988.
Have you one of it finished 8) ?

I'll have a look at Dave's site thanks Jim.

FYM 306C was perfectly normal, one reg number before but two chassis numbers after ... Here is a puzzle I discovered while searching FYM. This gold car was obviously a factory demonstrator / press car but its registration number which I decipher as BRE 296D is unknown to me and apparently to Matt. I...

Ok so I had to search my press files and found two references.
