Yep wish I had a garage but London is what it is. I am friendly with neighbors and often help them with cars and they don't mind me tinkering with this and my daily which is a '82 Volvo 240, they just laugh at all the cars I drive as everyone has flashy euroboxes. I was expecting snagging works but ...

Question...SE5A expansion tank pipe layout

Thanks for all the pointers I will on my tight budget and lack of space go through this and get it running correctly. I've started a 'project page' I'm sure it's a bit to much work for me and not exactly great reading. I normally suffer from stress due to work so it's lovely to find a escape in this...

The tyres on the car are all matching x5 with loads of tread but old, so I bought me self some "15 wolfrace from a TR6 although they are not as wide as I hoped but still. £80 and cost £20 to remove the tyres. They look rank now but with some assistance from the drill will look good, I hope! Will nee...

Just a thought Raz, check if there's a thermostat fitted, yer never know, might save yer hours o' un-necessary work.😜 There is a gasket where it should be and I was going to open some the the engine to have a look if it's got a steel/aluminium timing gear. Question...SE5A expansion tank pipe layout

Well I'll give it some time as I did fill it all the way up. I'll invest in one of those fluid test kits.

Cheers once again.

After listening to the engine fire up it's made me fall in love with it a tad more even thou it's not exactly a mint car.

Hi there, I'm Raz and I thought that I'd log my progress here. So a background... I brought my Scimitar in November 2018 when I sold a Mitsubishi Delica and was after a daily runabout, so I looked on Gumtree and found a ad for a small fiat and like most ads looked at the sellers other items and loca...

Question...SE5A expansion tank pipe layout

Hey there! Yeah you, I'm speaking directly to you  Would someone kindly tell me where this pipe leads to, my guess was the top of the radiator. Just started the car after a few months slumber and the pipe just continually leaks, there is a pin hole below the expansion tank which will be sealed ...
