That is showing solvent reactions and too much paint application from too close to the panel. Strip it back and give it two coats of Lechler 29107, then flat that to 800 dry and lay your basecoat. Co worker of mine is currently looking at this 5a on gumtree with intention of buying.

Looks ok to me but does anyone else have any input they can provide?

Motivated as that then brings the total in cwmbran to 4....and I'll be getting the middle bridge set for mighty :D

Thinking out loud....just pulling it apart and running a brush on the inside has appeared to have taken most but not all of the stiffness away, would putting some sort of lubricant onto the said area help with this issue?

Managed to free the system up a bit and contact block is confirmed to be the culprit as once split the barrel spun around nicely, have managed to free the mechanism up a fair amount but she will need replacing in the not too distant future

Small update more for myself so I can remember later depending which way I go for the interior: New front and rear seats Or retrofit 200sx rear seats to mighty...still unsure Renovate/replace shield badges all round Remove engine...maybe gearbox too - will be necessary for repaint and allow me to do...
