Bit harsh saying that, have you seen the car, paint may be in 1st class order if properly stored at 14 years old, similar for the interior and most of us know the costs of restoration of those elements of a scimitar

To recarpet a standard coupe you require 6lm of carpet I'm reliably informed by Nigel at QRG, he'd better be right as that's what I've bought for mine :lol: :lol:

I do have a copy of the coupe chassis drawings, I say copy of, it consists of many pretty poor quality jpeg images of the drawings, intention is to get around to drawing up one day for RSSOC members to be able to use

Tim, you can use from opposing side but front becomes rear and rear becomes front when changing from nearside to offside

The one that was on my coupe consisted of 2 drop plates bolted through the rear arms with bar across and bar assembly off that I'm sorry I only have the drop plates now, some git took the bar assembly off car before I bought it

Had the same happen to my 6b. check your wishbone to chassis mounts whilst it's all apart, mine had cracked which caused the wishbone failure, change both as well as I found the other whilst looking okay had actually a hairline crack in the top of it which would have grown of course then failed like...

I bought mine from local Moss Europe outlet as Guy said above, need to be the half nut as on the right or your photo, same as MG I recall, just tell then 1/2" unf thread and they supply correct items, cheap as well these
