Yes theres a bit of talk on the same site about using what they describe as the "unloved" SS1 as a donor chassis.The opinion seemed to be that the wheelbase is too short even for fitting glassfibre Ford Pop bodies.

Stumbled on this in an active thread on Retro Rides,quite a few people planning or building US style rods on GTE chassis's and running gear. Apparently the wheelbase is same as 32 Fords and 41 Willy's. This is a 32 Model A on a 6a chassis with the outriggers cut off. Might upset the purists. http://...

Well done Tony,got there in the end ! :D It looks like it was worth the wait,that looks like a really good car. I would guess its been properly dry stored for the interior to survice that well or its completely leak free.Theres no sign of mildew on the seats and even the carpets look good. Great fin...
