SEARCH SLICE INDEX
This is a full index of Technical Articles that have appeared in SLICE since the publication
started. The purpose of the index is to direct you to the edition of the magazine containing
the subject matter you have selected. Our first priority is to include links to the articles
and we have started off by including in the Members Section all of the latest publications of
The Enthusiasts Guide to Maintaining his Scimitar by ex-chairman Robin Rew.
You can test this by clicking on Search Slice Index in the left hand pane,
then entering the word Rewminations in the Search box.
This will display all of the listings of Rewminations and those that have a link to the
actual document will show the link on the right hand side.
ALTERPART 3
Paul Johson's original Alterpart booklets provided useful information on the origins, availability
and alternative sources for many Scimitar parts. Unfortunately, much or the information is now very
dated, and on new Online Alterpart 3 is under development. Obviously, a great deal of data requires
entering into the database, but the new Alterpart is designed to provide more information, especially
about non-original replacement parts, and modifications/improvements, based on members' experience.
At present, your chance of locating anything by entering the Reliant Part Number is vanishingly small,
(you can test it yourself with 000001),
but improved search facilities and the gradual population of the database are expected to provide an
up-to-date and helpful service.
